Story
Founder's Message
As a creative youth who initially had dream jobs such as "inventor" and "writer", I knew I wanted to make games for a living as soon as I took my first computer science course in high school.
I played my first video game at two years old (Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Genesis), so it's fair to say they've been a big part of my life from before I can even remember.
I had what you might call a 'rough childhood' despite my privilege, and I spent a lot of time alone. Thus, games were everything to me - a form of escape, an outlet for my emotions, and a way to connect with friends.
The stories helped me learn, grow, and validate my feelings. The characters inspired me to be kind and strong; to always get back up when you fall. The worlds bolstered my imagination, while the gameplay fostered my critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Altogether, games were the spark that ignited my burning desire to "create", and my goal is to one day give future generations similar positive experiences.

Core Values
Embrace Nostalgia and Evolution
They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. To us at Dragon Spire, that means capturing the spirit of games that we love and remember fondly rather than chasing the latest trends.
It means building upon those experiences and presenting them in new and exciting ways. We strive to highlight those that came before and inspired us while expressing our own stories, interests, and creativity.
Familiar Gameplay; Fresh Design
Most everyone can think of a game they played where they thought "Wow, that was great. I'd totally play something just like it in a different context." This statement is one of our biggest motivators.
At Dragon Spire, we're not trying to reinvent any wheels; we just want to make new ones. We strive to emulate great gameplay that has withstood the test of time while polishing the rough edges and modernizing it in our own way.
For Humans, By Humans
Play is one of the most fundamental parts of the human experience. We learn through it, we grow through it, and we make connections through it. We at Dragon Spire believe games are about passion, creativity, experiences, and personal connections; by removing the human aspect of creating play, the purpose is lost.
As such, our studio will never intentionally use any form of generative AI to create any content for our games.
